The AR-74 5.45x39 Tactical Rifle Kit from Moriarti Armaments brings military-grade ballistics and modular AR-15 versatility into a budget-friendly, build-it-yourself format. Designed with tactical shooters in mind, this 16" kit lets you harness the high-velocity performance of 5.45x39mm in a fully customizable AR platform—without the cost of a pre-built rifle.

At the heart of the kit is a 16” nitride-coated 4150 CMV barrel, chambered in 5.45x39mm with a 1:8 twist, carbine gas system, and 1/2x28 threads for muzzle device compatibility. The quadrail free-float handguard delivers a rock-solid foundation for accessories like lights, grips, or bipods—without compromising accuracy.

The forged 7075-T6 upper receiver comes complete with a forward assist and ejection port cover, while the M16-profile bolt carrier group is fully assembled and MPI tested. The lower build kit features mil-spec internals and a rugged LE-style 6-position stock, making this kit a great starting point for a mission-ready rifle.
